The Baby Powder Incident
Parker got a hold of a very large bottle of baby powder while I was feeding Charlotte last week. One of the many things he has gotten into during feedings. Ahhh, the house is always a mess, there is still baby powder on the carpet in both his room & Charlotte's room, all I can smell these days is poop (I always think, is it on me somewhere or what!?), there is currently day-old spit-up on her crib sheet & on her swing, ---- to answer your question, yes 2 is harder than 1. That is my excuse for not blogging in the last couple of weeks. I'm sure it will get easier one day, it must or why would people venture on to have a 3rd child? But it is so worth it, my 2 sweet babies are the loves of my life. I mean just look at my powder-covered little boy, how could you not just want to squeeze his cute cheeks!

Charlotte Mae Howell
Charlotte Mae Howell is here! She was born on 3/30/10 at 1:13pm, 6lb. 6oz.! We went in for a c-section at 10:45am on Tuesday, after a night of no sleep, of course, & we were so ready to have a baby. The c-section was much easier this time around, I was very nervous but the doctors & nurses were all so great, I was so relieved after the surgery was over & she was here & everything went exactly as planned. Here are some pictures of Charlotte's Birthday & the 1st few days of her life. The morning we went to the hospital, loving on my baby boy
Everything went so fast once we arrived at the hospital, before I knew it we had a baby!
Charlotte, just like Parker, had to go to the "transitional nursery" after birth because she was breathing fast & loud - pretty common for c-section babies because they don't get a chance to push out all the mucus like other babies that go through the birth canal. I think I have an almost identical picture of Parker from his Birth-Day.
