New Stats

Parker's 9 Month check-up was on Friday, so I have new stats for you... he's 20 lbs, 12 oz (50th percentile) & 28 3/4 in. long (75th percentile).
Today he started walking while I stood behind him holding his hands in the air...scary. He also ate Gerber's Puffs for the 1st time today, this is big news because he LOVED them & ate a bunch in one sitting, this is the 1st time he's been interested in feeding himself. Oh and he has 2 full-blown bottom teeth, Aunt Lindsay said she was unaware of this milestone & ordered me to post it on the blog immediately!

Ann Tatum's 2nd Birthday

Annie T. is 2! We headed to Birmingham for her birthday party this weekend. It rained & poured for her outdoor pool party but you know kids, they don't mind! Ann Tatum got this trampoline & even Parker wanted in on the action.Parker, Ann Tatum & Knox getting some jump time

9 Months

My 9 month old (as of yesterday) Baby Parker is not such a baby anymore :( He has gotten so big, he's crawling, pulling up, walking behind toys, walking along the couch, making ALOT more noise, eating real food, he has 2 teeth, he has lots of hair, I could go on and on. Babies grow so fast. We go to the Dr. on Friday for his first appt. since his 6 month one so it will be interesting to see how much he's grown. At 6 months he was 17 lb. 10oz. I'm guessing he's at least 21 lbs now. We'll see! I'll post a pic once I take one today.

Parker's Dedication & Mother's Day

My 1st Mother's Day was a fantastic one! Parker was Dedicated at our Church, my Dad, Lindsay, Ace's Parents, & Great Grandma Ruthie came for it & we had Mother's Day brunch at our house afterwards. The Baptist Church doesn't Baptise babies because they aren't old enough to understand, you are typically Baptised when you are older or ready to profess your faith. We dedicate babies with the promise that we will raise them in the church & teach them about our faith. Parkie was a handsome little boy in his little white shorts outfit (18 mo. size, I might add, he may not look much like his Daddy, but he is definately built like him). My little baby, you are growing too fast!

Kierna's 1st Birthday

Saturday Parker went to Kierna's 1st Birthday party, how time flys. Hard to believe Parker's 1st birthday is just 3 months away, tear. The Birthday Girl & Park-man

My Favorite Toy

This is Parker's favorite toy, he stands up at it all day long and instead of say "apple-bottom jeans" or "put a ring on it", these have become the songs that are stuck in my head all day. He's even learned to dance from this musical inigma. It also doubles as a walker, because it slides along the carpet as he leans on it. Yes this toy not only plays music, it has taught him how to walk & dance. The toy of many colors, songs & talents. Five stars.

Visitors

My cousin Nick & his wife Courtney came all the way from St. Louis to visit Lindsay, Ace & I and to meet Parker this weekend. We took them to Park Tavern at Piedmont Park before the rain came on Saturday & then were stuck inside the rest of the weekend -- this must be Atlanta's "rainy season"!
