18 Month Stats

Our little Parker turned 18 months old on February 18th, I can't believe how fast time has flown by. He is so busy, getting into everything. He's even been moved up to the next age class at Sunday School because he's "so busy"! After watching him week after week interacting with the other kids at Gymboree Play n Learn, I admit, I do worry about him being classified as hyperactive because he is just so much more active than the other kids his age. I know, good luck with a new baby around...I'm up for it though, my sweet little boy just has a big personality!

He says a few more words now, Dad (we are both "dad"), DaDa, Dog, Mil (milk), Nana (banana), Nak (snack), UhOh, Dat (that), Heyo (hello), ByeBye, GeGeGo (thank you - he says this when you give him a "Nak" so we assume he's saying thank you). Aren't babies so cute? Oh & some may notice that there is no Mama in there - that's right MaMa has disappeared from his vocab. Believe me, I work on it every day, I say "Say MAMA!" & he replies "DADA!"

So his stats are: Parker is 26 lb. 6 oz. (50th percentile) & 34 inches tall (90th percentile) at 18 months. I was so excited to tell Ace about the 90th percentile thing because I knew he'd be proud of his "above average height" son. Ha.

Happy Day my One-&-a-half Year Old! Mommy & Daddy Love You!

My 30th

So I turned 30 on Feb. 5th...I really can't believe I'm actually 30, it seems like my 21st Birthday was about 2 years ago. So this is the point at which I start to say I'm 29 every year going forward, at least that's what I remember my Mom always saying! Speaking of my Mom, she surprised me for my 30th, by coming in town - Ace came home from work & she came through the door too! I really had no idea, what a nice suprise! And Parker was very excited to see his Mimi too. I do believe there were 30 candles on that cake, it was on fire.

The girls

Loving the balloons

We went to the park the next day with Parker, this is him flirting with some little girls, seriously, he is already a ladies man - too funny!

Love My Hats

Parker loves his hats, he always finds his hats & puts them on all by himself, they usually aren't on quite right, as you can see. So silly!
