Our little Parker turned 18 months old on February 18th, I can't believe how fast time has flown by. He is so busy, getting into everything. He's even been moved up to the next age class at Sunday School because he's "so busy"! After watching him week after week interacting with the other kids at Gymboree Play n Learn, I admit, I do worry about him being classified as hyperactive because he is just so much more active than the other kids his age. I know, good luck with a new baby around...I'm up for it though, my sweet little boy just has a big personality!
He says a few more words now, Dad (we are both "dad"), DaDa, Dog, Mil (milk), Nana (banana), Nak (snack), UhOh, Dat (that), Heyo (hello), ByeBye, GeGeGo (thank you - he says this when you give him a "Nak" so we assume he's saying thank you). Aren't babies so cute? Oh & some may notice that there is no Mama in there - that's right MaMa has disappeared from his vocab. Believe me, I work on it every day, I say "Say MAMA!" & he replies "DADA!"
So his stats are: Parker is 26 lb. 6 oz. (50th percentile) & 34 inches tall (90th percentile) at 18 months. I was so excited to tell Ace about the 90th percentile thing because I knew he'd be proud of his "above average height" son. Ha.
Happy Day my One-&-a-half Year Old! Mommy & Daddy Love You!
